Performer Rejects Anti-Vaccine Stance Following Narrating Controversial Coronavirus Film

Liam Neeson has given his vocal talents to a new documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of immunizations and lauds ex- government figure RFK Jr.

The Film's Contentious Origins

Named "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is inspired by a bestselling book published by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was caused by a bad strain of the seasonal immunization.

The publication's collaborator, Kent Heckenlively, has also written books with conspiracy-prone radio host Alex Jones. He took to social media celebrating Neeson's involvement in the film.

A Strong Rebuttal

Representatives for the actor have released a comment pushing back against suggestions that he subscribes to anti-vax sentiments.

"We all recognize that corruption may occur within the pharmaceutical industry, but that must not be equated to rejection of vaccines," the statement states. "He never has been, and remains not, against vaccines. His long work with the UN children's agency highlights his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response continued that the star did not shape the project's narrative and that inquiries about its assertions should be directed to the filmmakers.

As presented, the script read by Neeson includes several controversial statements:

• It argues that "research has become deeply politicised."
• Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown claiming, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not safely tested."
• It also criticizes stay-at-home orders, arguing they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
• Concerning pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary further cites a 2004 BBC documentary about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the subject of a correction by the broadcaster for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the national health agency to change its long-held position that there is no connection between vaccines and autism. This supposed link is also referenced in the film, despite a new report from the WHO reiterating no connection has been found.

A Past Statement of Support

Contrasting the film's message, Neeson has previously shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable triumph," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This isn't the end of our narrative. This is the start of a fresh chapter."
